Yes, he has proven that he is capable of some wins, but to forget close road losses in Oakland and Houston, two very winnable games in which Cassel had the chance to close it out, would be a mistake.

For the incredible contract that our QB signed to play here, I don't think that its unreasonable to ask for the playoffs steadily; Granted, this is coming a bit early in his tenure, more the result of playing (not exactly murderer's row here): Buffalo, Cleveland, Seattle, Arizona, and Denver.

If the Chiefs win the next 3 and make the playoffs, let's celebrate their accomplishment, but withhold judgement on Cassel until conclusion of next year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6517358792565399569.post-89252153389467307502010-12-13T20:10:50.331-06:002010-12-13T20:10:50.331-06:00This team is as true to its geographical locale as...This team is as true to its geographical locale as it gets. Kansas City is a mid-west town surrounded by farms. It seems only logical that our football team accept the "Misery" heritage for what it really is; a farm team. We breed 'em big and strong so that they can go off to become something we can't foster here. I've grown accustomed to the idea. I suggest we embrace the stance and utilize it rather than condemn the NFL's greatest players (i.e. Tony G) to a career which robs them of the opportunity to witness the fulfillment of their endeavors.

Call me cynical and you'd be wrong. I'm actually an optimist.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
